The main points or advantages are;

• reducing credit card that minimises the impact on servicing requirements
• reduces the LVR impacting on interest rates, decreasing overall lending risk and allowing deals to comply when the LVRs are outside of credit policy.
• enhances the NCCP requirements of demonstrating that the borrower has a clear benefit from the refinance transaction.

In order to enhance the selling process and also the smooth transition of the entire process, CDS should be engaged at the embryonic stage of every transaction. Introducing CDS at the early stage will allow us to provide an estimate of savings and highlight the potential saving involved in your client’s refinance. This in a majority of cases, will encourage the client to proceed with your refinance proposal.

CDS reduces debt including credit cards, personal loans and many other unsecured credit facilities, enabling a reduction in final payout figures. This ultimately results in lower interest rates, which means lower monthly repayments, less set up costs and most importantly the client having less debt at the end of the transaction.
